Assessment process and tools

EPT offers a set of different tools to Assess the performance and competences of individuals, employees or participants to training courses. These tools are primarily designed to identify the strengths and weaknesses of Learners' and their skills. This will help to develop training programs for Learners that match their needs and strengthen their competences and skills. The Assessment Tool will also allow Learners to track their progress over time and enable Educators and organizations to report on the progress made by Groups of Learners. The Needs Assessment tools support the understanding of user’s needs, motivations, and behaviors — what they do, how they do it, and why. The tools and methods used include interviews, tests, questionnaires, observation, observational studies, surveys, focus groups and assessment centers. An assessment tool includes 2 – 3 instruments that each support different methods of assessment (e.g. observation checklist and questioning). The tool will include the administration, recording and reporting requirements, and describe the context and conditions of assessment.
