TEAM BUILDING PROGRAM FOR COMMUNICATION SKILLS UPGRATING

 

OBJECTIVES OF THE PROGRAMME

Poor communication lies at the root of many problems. It can lead to mistakes, quality problems, conflict, missed deadlines, and lost opportunities. That’s why it can often pay to help your people to develop their communication skills. One way of doing this is to use appropriate team building activities. The Team Building program will support your team to improve essential communication skills like listening, empathy and verbalization and will also strengthen team members’ problem solving, creative thinking and leadership skills.

Effective team work requires that employees communicate in ways that promote team cohesion. Business owners must take steps to ensure their employees, at all levels of the organization, develop these critical communication skills. Team members must communicate with one another in ways that promote bonding and their ability to understand one another. Effective communication builds trust, message clarity and loyalty. Ambiguous, poorly structured communication erodes trust and motivation.

I Day
Introduction and presentation – Time: 25 minutes
Lection on basic and advanced communication skills (120 minutes):

Team Building Exercises:

1. Guess the Emotion – Time: 25 minutes

  • Feedbacks and groups discussions – Time: 15 minutes

2. Power of Body Language – Time: 30 minutes

  • Feedbacks and groups discussions – Time: 15 minutes

3. Square talk – Time: 35 minutes

  • Feedbacks and groups discussions – Time: 15 minutes

II Day
Lection on basic and advanced communication skills (120 minutes):

  • The power of the words and of our voice
  • Involve: aurose consensus

Team Building Exercises:

4. The name game – Time: 20 minutes

  • Feedbacks and groups discussions – Time: 15 minutes

5. The Elephant List – Time: 25 minutes

  • Feedbacks and groups discussions – Time: 15 minutes

6. Build a Bridge – – Time: 25 minutes

  • Feedbacks and groups discussions – Time: 15 minutes

Final Assessment of Participants – Time: 40 minutes

EXPECTED RESULTS

A cohesive team that communicates well with others creates an environment where people feel free to express new ideas and creative solutions. Employee teams with good communication skills enhance the customer experience, leading to possible improved retention of clientele and referrals. Good workplace communication skills allow team members to focus on prioritizing tasks and achieving objectives rather than chasing down an explanation for unclear communications and directives.
